Tattoo on the side of the middle finger?

I don't suggest tattoos on hands or necks and I charge extra for them. It's a stupid idea and prevents people from getting jobs. It hurts a lot on fingers. I have a ring tattooed. The size of the lettering won't look good. Small detail will fade and eventually just look like a mess. Even with a lot of touch-up, the letters would run together.
