Azithromycin and wellbutrin interactions?

I have been taking Wellbutrin sr 150 twice daily for about 2 months. I just began taking azithromycin for bronchitis and have suffered such sever depression that is far worse than before I started taking the wellbutrin. Is this normal? My doctor and my pharmacist did not mention any negative reactions to taking both pills
