What foot odor spray is good for these sneakers I worn without socks for 7 consecutive Winters?

I bought these Puma Basket sneakers in 2003 at a shoe store, and I worn them without socks since the day I bought them. I do not like wearing socks, and this is the 7th Winter that I am wearing them without socks. They really make my feet stink bad, and they smell the instant I take them off my feet. These sneakers are so comfortable to wear without socks, and hate to get rid of them. The insoles are canvas, and they are all dark brown (used to be white) from all these years not wearing any socks, and I cannot take out the insoles, since that is one solution, but I do not want to take out the insoles. Is there a good foot odor spray that can get rid of the odor? I know some of you will tell me to get rid of the shoes, or start wearing socks, but I like to know what foot odor spray will work. Do you think Frebreeze works?
