(Note: this is paragraph length!)Should I ask her to hangout?

I'm a sopre in highschool, and there is a girl i have a crush on xD. She's really beautiful and has a really pretty smile :P. Up until about a few days ago, i haven't talked to this girl. NEVER. We knew eachothers names though since we have 2 cles + lunch together (thats a start, hooray! lol) which lead me to do something I wouldn't ever picture myself doing. It was after lunch and I saw her walking to her homeroom by herself (Gotta hate it when theres like 16 of them walking together) and walked up to her and I started a conversation with her. She actually seemed interested in the conversation; even though we've never talked before. She laughed at my joke, she smiled, and didn't even blow me off or think I was some creeper. In my opinion she's probably "out of my league" (at least I keep telling myself that, but I have all the confidence in the world to go up and ask her to hang out; granted I think ill get rejected, but gosh darn it ill do it anyway) I recently found out she is single, so that was even more of a confidence builder for me. I don't have trouble talking to her; I'm just concerned whether or not she's gonna think I'm a weirdo if I ask her to hang out sometime this weekend since we've only talked like twice. So whaddya all think, should i ask her?
